The listed consultants are AFPA Certified to perform External Health and Safety Audits for the Forest Industry in Alberta.  (Many of them are willing to conduct audits in BC, but are not specifically certified to do so.)  Note that the AFPA certifies only that these auditors have passed our External Consultant Auditor requirements, and are deemed competent to perform an AFPA PIR Audit at this time. 

External Consultant Health and Safety Auditors are all independent consultants, and their experience and pricing may vary. The employer is advised to confirm the suitability of the auditor they choose in the same way that they would confirm the suitability of any person with whom they elect to enter into a contractual arrangement.

 If you are planning to use an External Consultant to perform your Health and Safety Audit this year, please contact the consultants directly to schedule your audit as soon as possible.  To be eligible for any financial incentives, the audits must be completed by December 31, 2010, and auditor availability becomes limited as the year progresses.
