The Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA) is a non-profit association representing companies that manufacture wood products in Alberta.
AFPA External Consultant Auditors
The listed consultants are AFPA certified to perform External Health and Safety Audits for the Forest Industry in Alberta. Some have additional certifications to perform audits in BC.
Note: AFPA certifies only that these auditors have met the AFPA External Consultant Auditor requirements and are deemed competent to perform AFPA PIR and/or SECOR Audits at this time.
External Health and Safety Auditors are all independent consultants and their experience and pricing may vary. The employer is advised to confirm the suitability of the auditor they choose in the same way that they would confirm the suitability of any person with whom they elect to enter into a contractual agreement.
If you are planning to use an External Consultant to perform your Health and Safety Audit this year, please contact the consultants directly to schedule your audit as soon as possible. To be eligible for any financial incentives, the audits must be completed by December 31 of the calendar year and auditor availability becomes limited as the year progresses.
